Tuesday we had a real treat from God. We woke up to what I would consider a winter wonderland. We woke up to a rarity around here called hoar frost. I have never heard it called this, at least that I can remember, but I do remember seeing it a few times. It is something that only comes along with the right conditions; 20º to 25º, humidity in the air and little to no wind. With all of these conditions the moisture in the air forms ice crystals that stick to things like tree branches, cars, etc. It is probably one of the most beautiful things I have seen and I am so blessed to have seen it again. God truly has a beautiful creation, we just take it for granted sometimes. I went out for lunch that day and couldn't resist taking a few photos. So here you go!This morning I woke up to some dense fog and I have to tell you that I do enjoy driving in fog. I am not 100% sure as to why that is but I have a theory as to why I enjoy it so. This morning while driving to work I figured this out, it is sort of like driving in a ghost town. It looks barren around you and then all of the sudden, out of nowhere things appear through the fog. That may not make sense to some but to me it makes perfect sense. There is an eerie feeling in the air which intrigues me yet calms me at the same time. I just love it!
