"High School's Back Yo!"

So, this past Monday, some girls in my Bible study had a girls' movie night. We decided to have a blast from the past and have a Disney movie theme. I love reliving my childhood with great friends! I expected there to be sweets, friends belting out the songs Aladdin and some girl talk but I didn't count on what took place later that evening.

While we were watching and singing along to Aladdin my bestie Petie all of the sudden, out of nowhere, said, "We should TP they boys!" You see, the boys in our small group were also having a guys' night that they refer to as "Man Time" and it was being held at James' house. For some reason this just made it even more enticing. So, we sat there for a little bit after Petie made the suggestion and I got to thinking, "We should totally do it, it's supposed to rain tonight!" No one still made any effort to get up and go TP his house so I asked who all wanted to do it and it was unanimous, we were going to TP the boys! We had all TPed a house before except for our friend Ashley so we had to do it!

So, we all jumped off the couch, got into the most inconspicuous cars we had and went to the grocery stores to pick up some supplies. Stephanie, Ashley and I were on a mission to find some Vaseline to put under their door handles and the other girls were grabbing the TP and some silly string to spray all over the yard. It was SUPER windy and cold that night so that made it even more interesting.

We got to the house and the garage was open so I was worried that they were out and would see us. Thankfully, they were inside. We got out of our cars and went to work. I was on silly string duty with another friend while 2 others did the Vaseline and the others did the TPing. It was great because our friend left his garage door open where we had access to his beloved motorcycle. No one would touch his motorcycle for fear of repercussions if anything happened to it.

Petie and I were standing next to our friends truck talking about what needed to be done still when all of the sudden we hear the front door open and our friend James, who owns the house we are TPing, comes out to catch us in the act. I will never ever, ever forget what happened next. My friend Petie dropped everything that was in her hand and let out this high pitched LOUD scream and ran for the car. I, of course, turned and ran but I was laughing the whole way at Petie and the fact that we got caught TPing the boys. So, I get back to the car I was in and there was no driver, she was behind me so we quickly got in and pushed the button to start her car and it couldn't start fast enough so Petie decided she would peel out first since we hadn't left yet. Problem was we almost got in an accident because about the time she was passing us we left. It was a close call but no one was hurt.

We left a bag of powdered donuts on the front porch, with "Aladdin made us do it!" written on the front, as a peace offering in hopes that the boys would not retaliate. So far nothing has happened but we'll see how it goes. You never know what to expect with these boys. When we got back to my friend Nicole's house we started comparing stories and reliving the fun we just had. Two of the girls in the last car said that some of the boys caught up to the car and were banging on the windows but in the midst of all the running, screaming and the "Get the heck outta Dodge!" mentality we didn't even notice.

My friend and I were talking with some of the guys who were there about it and it was funny to hear what they thought and I think they had fun hearing our side of the story as well. It was just a good ol' time! Aside from Petie's war cry I think Nicole's husband had the 2nd funniest line of that night when he came out and saw the aftermath, "I hope that's not my toilet paper!" Oh my, I love it!

We had a lot of fun and the boys were good sports about it. I think they were more in disbelief that we did it than anything else and they complimented us on our TPing skills. Hmm, I wonder what we're gonna do for our next girls night?!

This isn't the house we did but it is a great example as to how windy it was that night. The toilet paper was flying everywhere!
